Today in Math 6: 1 & 3°, students completed a quiz that dealt with constructing and interpreting graphical representations.
During Math 6 - 2°, students began Lesson 10.4: Apply Unit Rates: Unit Prices. In this lesson, students apply what they have learned about ratios and rates to solve real-world problems dealing with pricing of products.
Math 6+ students completed a quiz that dealt with constructing and interpreting graphical representations.
Today's Learning Target(s): The student will be able to...
1. use ratio and rate reasoning to solve real-world and mathematical problems. (2°)
2. understand the concept of a unit rate a/b associated with a ratio a:b with b not equaling 0. (2°)
2. understand the concept of a unit rate a/b associated with a ratio a:b with b not equaling 0. (2°)
3. describe any overall pattern and any striking deviations from the overall pattern with reference to the context in which the data were gathered. (1, 3, and 7°)
4. display numerical data sets on a number line, including dot plots, histograms, and box plots. (1 and 3°)
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to complete:
1. Math 6(1&3°):
o Work towards 75% mastery on Khan Academy (6th Grade)
2. Math 6(2°):
o Work towards 75% mastery on Khan Academy (6th Grade)
3. Math 6+:
o Work towards 50% mastery on Khan Academy (7th Grade)
4. All Classes: m > 10 minutes meaningful practice at Khan Academy
