Day 105: Gizmo Continued

Today in Math 6: 1 & 3°, students continued their work from Friday's lesson and worked on their Mean, Median, and Mode Gizmo.

During Math 6 - 2°, students continued their work from Friday's lesson and developed a deeper understanding of part:part and part:whole ratios using an activity on Explore Learning.

Students in Math 6+ continued their work on the Mean, Median, and Mode Gizmo from Friday. 

Today's Learning Target(s): The student will be able to...

1. understand the concept of ratio and use ratio language to describe a ratio relationship between two quantities. (2°)
2. use ratio and rate reasoning to solve real-world and mathematical problems. (2°)
3. recognize that a measure of center for a numerical data set summarizes all of its values with a single number. (1, 3, & 7°)
4. recognize a statistical question as one that anticipates variability in the data related to the question and accounts for it in the answers.  (1, 3, & 7°)
5. display numerical data in plots on a number line, including dot plots. (1, 3, & 7°)

• Work towards 75% mastery on Khan Academy (6th Grade)

• Complete pages 753 - 754 in your Data Analysis handout.
• Work towards 50% mastery on Khan Academy (7th Grade)
4. All Classes: m > 10 minutes meaningful practice at Khan Academy
