Day 103: Mean / Model Ratio / Mean

Today in Math 6: 1 & 3°, students worked with calculating the mean for a set of data.  

During Math 6 - 2°, students continued their work with Lesson 9.2: Model Ratios.  

Students in Math 6+ worked with calculating the mean for a set of data. 

Today's Learning Target(s): The student will be able to...

1. understand the concept of ratio and use ratio language to describe a ratio relationship between two quantities. (2°)
2. use ratio and rate reasoning to solve real-world and mathematical problems. (2°)
3. recognize that a measure of center for a numerical data set summarizes all of its values with a single number. (1, 3, & 7°)
4. display numerical data in plots on a number line, including dot plots.
