Today in Math 6: 1 & 3°, students worked in pairs or trios to review problems dealing with decimals.
During Math 6 - 2°, students discussed the Topic Three: Rational Numbers posttest from last Friday. Mr. Giomini spent time modeling order of operations problems dealing with absolute value.
Students in Math 6+ worked in pairs to review skills and algebraic equations that incorporated decimal computations.
Today's Learning Target(s): The student will be able to...
- fluently divide multi-digit numbers using the standard algorithm. (1, 3, & 7°)
- fluently add, subtract, multiply, and divide multi-digit numbers using the standard algorithm for each operation. (1, 3, & 7°)
- apply and extend previous understandings of numbers to the system of rational numbers. (2°)
- fluently add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers using the standard algorithm for each operation. (all classes)
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to complete:
- Math 6(1&3) - Page 38
- Math 6(2): Quizlet - Topic Four: Integers on a Coordinate Plane
- Math 6+: Handout from Mr. Giomini
- All Classes: m > 10 minutes meaningful practice at Khan Academy
