The equation for this problem is: 5x+x=180

Hicov,
ReplyDeleteI love the equation! Now solve for x and tell me the measure of each angle.
To solve the equation you must take:
Delete1. 5x+x=180 and add the extra x to the 5x, making it 6x.
2. Now you have 6x=180, so you must take off the 6 to solve for one x. You have to divide 180/6 to get 30.
3. X=30
4. Substitute the number back into the equation.
5. 5*30+30=180
