In
Common Core Math Six for students in
1, 3, and 4°, Mr. Giomini checked students Weekend Practice while they worked on their double line graph for ten minutes. Mr. Giomini then introduced the students to
Lesson 1.8: Scatter Plots. During the lesson, the students were introduced to the terms:
positive correlation, negative correlation, and
no correlation. Students then used meter sticks or yard sticks to find out if there is a correlation between wingspan and height. The information was plotted on a class scatter plot and used for discussion among the classes.
Students in 2° completed their Chapter One midpoint quiz from Friday.
