In Math Six today, students worked with Lesson 2.7: Properties of Exponents from the Pre-Algebra curriculum.  Although Mr. Giomini was not in class physically today, he still worked with students along with the substitute to model how to multiply and divided exponents when they had the same base.

1. identify the base and exponent when working with exponential form.
2. write out in extended for what two to the fifth power represents.
3. apply the properties of exponents when multiplying and dividing exponents with common bases.

In Pre-Algebra today, students completed the Chapter Eight Formative Pretest.  Due to Mr. Giomini being out of the building, these scores will not be posted to GBW until Monday afternoon.  Apologies if this causes anyone moments of anxiety.
