Day 89: Math 6: Midpoint Review / Math 6+: Percent Change

Math 6 students prepared for Tuesday's Topic Six Midpoint Quiz by using the resources in their book.

Math 6+ students continued their work with percent increase and decrease.

Skills that were introduced, modeled, practiced, and informally assessed today in class include:

Math 6:

• Write equivalent values as fractions, decimals, and percents.
• Write fractions as decimals and percents when the denominator of the fraction is not 100.

Math 6+:

• Find a percent of a quantity as a rate per 100 (e.g., 30% of a quantity means 30/100 times the quantity). 
• Solve problems involving finding the whole, given a part and the percent.
