Day 56: Math 6 - Dependent and Independent Variables / Math 6+ - Analyze Units

Students in Math 6 worked with Lesson 4.8: Understand Dependent and Independent Variables. We learned to identify the variable whose value depends on the value of another.

Math 6+ students continued their work with analyze units and conversion factors.

• Use variables to represent two quantities in a real-world problem that change in relationship to each other. 

Math 6+:

• Use ratio reasoning to convert measurement units; manipulate and transform units appropriately when multiplying or dividing quantities.
