Students in Math 6 and Math 6+ completed their second Calculation Quiz of the second quarter. Once the assessment was completed, students in Math 6 worked with Lesson 4.7: Solve Inequalities. Today's focus was on graphing inequalities as well as determining whether values would make an inequality true.
Math 6+ students continued their work with unit rates.

Math 6:
- Fluently divide multi-digit numbers using the standard algorithm.
- Write an inequality of the form x > c or x < c to represent a constraint or condition in a real-world or mathematical problem. Recognize that inequalities of the form x > c or x < c have infinitely many solutions; represent solutions of such inequalities on number line diagrams.
- Fluently divide multi-digit numbers using the standard algorithm.
- Understand the concept of a ratio and use ratio language to describe a ratio relationship between two quantities.
- Understand the concept of a unit rate a/b associated with a ratio a:b with b ≠ 0, and use rate language in the context of a ratio relationship.
