Day 170: Story Problems and Inequalities / Volume / Graphing Linear Equations

Today in 1 and 3° Math 6, students continued their work with writing and constructing graphs for inequalities.

In 2° Math 6, Mr. Giomini and the students constructed right rectangular prisms for each other with fractional edges to use as mini-quizzes for each other.

Students in 7° Math 6+ continued their work with graphing linear equations.  Today's focus was on story problems.

Today's Learning Targets: The student will be able to...
  • understand solving an equation or inequality as a process of answering a question. (1 and 3°)
  • find the volume of a right rectangular prism with fractional edges. (2°)
  • solve and graph linear equations. (7°)
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to...
  • 1 and 3° -
    • Have 100% of 6th Grade Khan Skills mastered by May 27th.
  • 2° -
    • Have 100% of 6th Grade Khan Skills mastered by May 27th.
    • 7° -
      • Have 100% of 7th Grade Khan Skills mastered by May 27th.
    • All Classes: Complete at least 10 minutes of work on Khan Academy to help review old content, practice new material, or front-load future concepts.
