Day 171: Inequality Story Problems / Volume / Systems of Equations

Today in 1 and 3° Math 6, students reviewed their work with inequality story problems from Friday and gained additional practice by solving and graphing problems from the textbook.

In 2° Math 6, students completed the first question for their retake which is going to take place over the course of the week.  Students will work on one to two problems each day and have the entire retake completed by Thursday.

Students in 7° Math 6+ went back to working with systems of equations in preparation for Thursday's posttest.

Today's Learning Targets: The student will be able to...
  • understand solving an equation or inequality as a process of answering a question. (1 and 3°)
  • find the volume of a right rectangular prism with fractional edges. (2°)
  • solve systems of equations. (7°)
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to...
