Day 164: Inequalities / Volume and Surface Area Posttest /

Today in 1 and 3° Math 6, students continued their work with solving and graphing inequalities which was the focus of yesterday's lesson.

In 2° Math 6, students worked on the Volume and Surface Area posttest

Students in 7° Math 6+ worked with different equations/formulas and solved for missing variables.  This was the focus from yesterday's lesson as well.

Today's Learning Targets: The student will be able to...
  • understand solving an equation or inequality as a process of answering a question. (1, 3, and 7°)
  • use substitution to determine whether a given number makes an equation or inequality true. ( 7°)
  • find the volume and surface area of a right rectangular prism. (2°)
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to...
  • 1 and 3° -
    • Handout from Mr. Giomini.
    • Have 100% of 6th Grade Khan Skills mastered by May 27th.
