Class Topics: 10.07.13

In Common Core Math Six today, students in 1, 3, and 4° reviewed their results from the Chapter Two posttest.  Mr. Giomini shared with the students the areas of greatest strength and need using a Google Spreadsheet.  Topics for Chapter Three: Integers and Rational Numbers were shared and students were shown where they can assess resources to help prepare for tomorrow's pretest.

Students in 2° began working with solving equations.  Lesson 2.11: Solving Equations with Addition or Subtraction modeled how to simplify, isolate, and check answers for one-step equations.

• solve one-step equations by using the inverse of addition and subtraction.  (2°)
