  1. create a tree diagram from given information.
  2. calculate and explain the probability for different outcomes when given an illustration to analyze.
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to...
  1. make corrections to their Unit Seven Formative Pretest.
In Fourth Period Math Six today, students inputted their Learwood Assessment Scores into the computer.  Last week we ran out of trials, but they were renewed.  Once students completed that, they played a game called Dice Difference with an assigned partner.

  2. handout given in class.  (CLICK HERE)

Today's Learning Goals: The student will be able to...
  1. estimate probability using theoretical methods.
  2. describe a sample space for tossing two coins that has all of the outcomes being equally likely.
  3. give an example of an experiment in which it would not be reasonable to assume that all outcomes are equally likely.
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to...
  1. answer questions eight through twenty-five on pages 465 and 466.
