Class Topics: 05.16.12

In EDM today, students reviewed last night's homework which dealt with simple interest.  Students then began to apply their new understanding of percents and algebraic equations to a test prep page in their packet.
Today's Learning Intentions: The student will be able to...

1. calculate the missing value in a percent problem.
2. solve one-step equations.
3. write equivalent percents, decimals and fractions.

For Evening Practice, students CAN...

1. review their formative pre-test for Chapter Eight.
2. develop solutions for problems on Chapter Eight Test A.  (Optional)

Pre-Algebra did not meet today due to Team 6B's trip to Learwood.
