In EDM today, students worked with Lesson 8.11: Comparing Ratios.  We discussed the concept of n-to-1 Mr. Giomini modeled some problems for the students using Math Journal page 316.  Students then collaborated in pairs or pods to complete the rest of 316.

In Pre-Algebra today, the students completed Lesson 9.4: Theoretical Probability.  Students were asked to determine the theoretical probability of various events occurring when rolling two die.  We also discussed the theoretical probability of a situation when playing Monopoly.  Students were given time to begin their homework at the end of class.
