Day 127: Application Review / Convert Between Customary and Metric / Jeopardy

Today in Math 6, students in 1 and 3° continued their work from yesterday with the challenge problems as well as received some application of previously learned material.

In 2°, Math 6 students continued working with approximations and exact answers with Lesson 10.8 Relate Customary Unit to Metric. Students worked with using conversion tables to help convert 5.6 inches to cm.  

During 7 °, students in Math 6+ played Jeopardy reviewing skills previously taught in the year.

Today's Learning Targets: The student will be able to...

• use ratio reasoning to convert measurement units. (2°)
• manipulate and transform units appropriately when multiplying and dividing quantities. (2°)
