Today in Math 6: 1 & 3°, students reviewed their work from yesterday with calculating percent change. Students completed a Socrative dealing with the percent change of moose populations in various states across the country to help model the real-world application of the skill.
During Math 6 - 2°, Mr. Giomini modeled some of the examples from yesterday's Precision Quick Check. Students then played a game to help them utilize skills that were practiced and applied during Topic Six to help with concept understanding.
Students in Math 6+ worked with peers to complete an activity dealing with simple interest and compound interest (the challenge component).
