Class Topics: 10.28.14

In Common Core Math Six today, students checked their Evening Practice with an answer key provided by Mr. Giomini.  Lesson 4.5: Dividing Decimals and Integers by Decimals was introduced, modeled, and practiced in class.

In class, several models were shown to students including ones similar to the one pictured below. Mr. Giomini explained the intuition of moving the decimal in both the divisor and dividend.
