Class Topics: 10.14.14

In Common Core Math Six today, students completed a Socrative quiz dealing with translating word phrases.  With classes shortened today, Mr. Giomini introduced, modeled, and practiced  Lesson 3.9: Equivalent Fractions and Decimals.  During this lesson, students convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.

Several examples similar to the one below were provided for students.  Students were provided class time to begin their Evening Practice.

CONVERT FRACTIONS TO DECIMALS

• complete page 33 and 34 in Chapter Three.
