In Common Core Math Six, students in 1 and 3° continued their work in Chapter Twelve: Functions and Graphing. Mr. Giomini briefly reviewed Lesson 12.1: Introduction to Functions before introducing, modeling, and practicing Lesson 12.2: Find a Pattern in Sequences.
This lesson helped us with seeing a pattern and understanding that a list of numbers can follow a pattern with the numbers in the sequence being the output values of a function.

During 2° students were introduced to Chapter Eleven: Multi Step Equations and Inequalities. This chapter takes us back to Chapter Two and builds off of the foundation that we have with solving one-step equations. Mr. Giomini introduced and modeled Lesson 11.1: Solving Two-Step Equations.
Students in 4° began Chapter Twelve: Introduction to Functions. Mr. Giomini began class by having students complete a function table to gauge what they currently know. Class then worked with Lesson 12.1: Introduction to Functions.

Today's Learning Goals: The student will be able to...
- 1 and 3° -
- find patterns to complete sequences using function tables.
- 2° -
- identify the variable in an equation.
- identify the different operations in an equation.
- solve multistep equations.
- 4° -
- generate and graph ordered pairs from a function table.
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to...
