Class Topics: 05.23.14

In Common Core Math Six today, students in 1 and 3° reviewed last night's Evening Practice before class began. Mr. Giomini explained to the students that Chapter Twelve does not include a posttest causing tears of joy to briefly flood the room.  Students worked in prearranged groups to work on an expressions and equations activity that allowed students to apply skills from several chapters this year.

During 2°, the CCM6 students worked with Kahoot It to review concepts from Lessons 11.1 through 11.5. Students competed against each other and the clock to earn points and prestige.

CCM6 students in 4° reviewed the results from yesterday's quiz on slope and slope-intercept form.  Mr. Giomini then had students complete a Socrative assessment that dealt with slope and its application in real-world problems.
