In Common Core Math Six, students in 1 and 3° began class by completing a quick Socrative quiz. Class then moved into Chapter Twelve: Graphs and Functions. Rather than pretest this chapter and overload students even more, Lesson 12.1: Introduction to Functions was introduced, modeled, and practiced.
The lesson's focus was using a function table to generate ordered pairs which were then graphed on a coordinate grid.
Students in 4° completed the Chapter Eleven Posttest. Comments and grade for the assignment will post later today or early Saturday morning.
Today's Learning Goals: The student will be able to...
- 1 and 3° -
- use function tables to generate ordered pairs.
- graph ordered pairs on a coordinate grid.
- 2° -
- implement test taking strategies to complete several tasks.
- 4° -
- solve multistep equations.
- solve and graph multistep inequalities.
- create and solve equations or inequalities from context.
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to...
- 1 and 3° -
- complete the Khan Skill: Identify Slope of a Line by Monday.
- 2° -
- enjoy the last weekend of no Evening Practice.
- 4° -
