Class Topics: 01.30.14

In Common Core Math Six, students in 1, 3, and 4° reviewed the Chapter Six Posttest with Mr. Giomini.  iPads and Chromebooks were used to front load some of the concepts in preparation for Friday's Chapter Seven Pretest.

Students in 2° worked with review questions from Lessons 5.1 and 5.4 in preparation for Monday's Chapter Five Posttest.

• review common terms used in Geometry such as line, line segment, ray, point, and plane.
• identify various types of angles.
• 2° -
• write a ratio to compare two different items.
• compare two ratios using a proportion.
• simplify ratios when needed.
• use dimensional analysis to solve multi-step conversions.

• complete Lesson 7.1 Practice C (all).
• complete Lesson 7.1 Challenge.
• 2° -
• complete the front side to the handout given in class.
