In Common Core Math Six during 1, 3, and 4°, students reviewed last night's Evening Practice and had questions clarified by Mr. Giomini.  Class was broken into groups of two to complete a challenge based on problems from Chapter Six - Percents.  Mr. Giomini then provided an answer key with solutions to help students check their understanding of the concepts.

Your boss says that his wife has put an 18 × 51 foot garden in along the whole back end of their back yard. He says that this has reduced the back-yard lawn area by 24%. What are the total dimensions of his back yard? What are the dimensions of the remaining lawn area?   

During 2°, reviewed last night's Evening Practice with Mr. Giomini.  The Chapter Five Midpoint Quiz was administered to the class.
