Class Topics: 02.15.13

In Math Six today, students checked over their Evening Practice and then played Jeopardy to review several of the skills that we worked on this week: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers, solving equations with integers and order of operation.  
Today's Learning Goals: The student will be able to...
  1. review the order of operations.
  2. evaluate expressions containing parentheses.  
  3. model different number properties: commutative, associative and distributive. 
  4. summarize the properties of number systems.
  5. develop rules for multiplying and dividing positive and negative numbers.
  6. apply rules for multiplying and dividing positive and negative numbers.

In Pre-Algebra today, students reviewed for their Chapter Seven Summative Posttest which will be administered on Tuesday, February 19th.
