Class Topics: 11.14.11

In EDM today, students collaborated to begin working on a problem solving situation that will take us through the next two days.  The project incorporates skills that have been covered in both Unit One and Unit Three.  Those skills include:

• calculating solutions to a function table using specific values for either x or y
• creating an appropriate graph for displaying data

Students are to complete the following for homework tonight:

Working together to accomplish a common product.

In Pre-Algebra today, students explained to me the difference between the various samples that were introduced last week and developed scenarios using peers to model them to exhibit comprehension of the material.

Stem-and-leaf plots along with double stem-and-leaf plots were then constructed implementing the classes testing data from our Chapter Three Summative Assessment.
