Class Topics: 09.19.11

In EDM today, we reviewed material for tomorrow's Unit One Summative Assessment by utlizing Active Expressions to complete a confidence flipchart on the different topics for the exam:
  • calculating mean
  • sorting data to identify the median
  • locating the mode in a set of data
  • constructing a double-line graph
  • interpreting data and drawing inferences from a histogram
  • constructing a line plot and stem-and-leaf plot using a data table

 In Pre-Algebra today, we completed our Chapter One Summative Assessment that dealt with:
  • creating algebraic expressions
  • solving algebraic equations
  • solving and graphing algebraic inequalities
  • interpreting data from a table to respond to short answer questions

    I will study harder the next time we get a test,quiz or pretest.While i study i will cover up the answers and then rewrite the answers and double check the answer if i have a answer or answer.
