Day 89: Graphing Ratios / Writing and Solving Proportions

Students in Math 6 continued their work with graphing ratios. The ratio tables and graphs that were completed yesterday were shared and discussed. Class was encouraged to critique the different examples for mathematical precision.
Learning Intentions:
  • Represent equivalent ratios on graphs.
  • Use ratio tables and graphs to solve problems.


Math 6+ students continued their work from yesterday with solving proportions from different word problems. Ratio tables were made for some in an attempt to graph. 
Learning Intentions:
  • Look for proportional relationships between terms. 
  • Generate equivalent ratios to create a proportional relationship.
