In Math 6 during 2°, students worked through the area of two-dimensional shapes and volume of three-dimensional shapes.
During Math 6+, students completed a 20 question Kahoot! that dealt with both volume and surface area for three dimensional shapes and nets. This task served as a educational and fun learning/review experience to help prepare for Monday's posttest.

Today's Learning Targets: The student will be able to...
- find the surface area of a right rectangular prism with fractional edge lengths. (1, 2, and 3°)
- solve real-world and mathematical problems involving area, volume, and surface area of two-and three-dimensional objects, - 7th grade (7°)
- know the formulas for the volumes of cones, cylinders, and spheres and use them to solve real-world and mathematical problems. - 8th grade (7°)
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to...
- 1 and 3° -
- Prepare for Tuesday's Volume and Surface Area posttest.
- Have 100% of 6th Grade Khan Skills mastered by May 27th.
- 2° -
