Class Topics: 10.21.13

In Common Core Math Six, students in 1, 3, and  began class by completing a Problem of the Day before beginning Lesson 3.7: Fraction and Decimals.  Students worked with converting between fractions and decimals and presenting their fraction answers in simplest terms.  

Students in  reviewed their Evening Practice with Mr. Giomini.  Lesson 3.4: Subtracting Integers was introduced, modeled, and practiced.  Mr. Giomini showed a Brain Pop video to help clarify the material. The students worked in small learning pods to complete several problems listed by Mr. Giomini.
