Class Topics: 12.13.12

In Math Six today, we reviewed our quiz grades from yesterday's Unit Four Midpoint Assessment.  Once that was completed, we discussed prime factorization and how it related to grouping items that needed to be sorted.

In Pre-Algebra today, students discussed Lesson 5-8 Symmetry and Lesson 5-9: Tessellations.  Both of these lessons are a more in-depth review of material covered in fourth and fifth grade.

  2. complete figures when given one side of a symmetrical drawing.  
  3. predict and verify patterns involving tessellations.
