Class Topics: 11.20.12

In Math Six today, second period students played a review game from content previously learned throughout the year up to this point.  Students also received their Chapter One Pre-Algebra Posttest back.  The class average was an 87% and the average student improved by 76 percentage points from pretest to posttest.

In Math Six today, fourth period students played a Jeopardy game to review content from previously learned material from earlier in the year.  I will have more data regarding the classes Chapter One Pre-Algebra Posttest once all of the students complete the assessment.

In Pre-Algebra today, students discussed their Chapter Four Midpoint quiz results.  Lesson 4.5: Displaying Data was then introduced.  Terms that were defined and explained include: frequency table and histogram.
