In Pre-Algebra today, students who completed their Chapter Two Summative Post-test on Friday were given their assessments back.  Mr. Giomini discussed how the class average for the two periods was about an 88% which was great.  Students then had to opportunity to work with some types of problems that they will see on tomorrow's Chapter Three Formative Pretest.

2. simplify fractions to simplest terms.

For Evening Practice, it is suggested that the student...

1. complete the following Khan Skills by Thursday:
•  Convert decimals into fractions
• Simplifying fractions
• Multiplying Fractions
• Square Roots
• All of these skills, with the exception of multiplying fractions should be familiar due to your fifth grade mathematics' indicators.  If you don't understand a concept, consult with me or view a quick video for a refresher.  You must be proficient in the skill by completing at the minimum 16 trials.
