Class Topics: 05.30.12


In EDM today, students continued their game of Jeopardy from yesterday.

  1. translate word phrases into algebraic expressions and equations.
  2. solve one and two-step equations.
  3. use algebraic reasoning to solve story problems.
  4. collaborate with peers to work in a team setting.
For Evening Practice, students CAN...
  1. relax and enjoy one of the final night's of sixth grade.
This is Mack relaxing.  
In Pre-Algebra today, students turned in their Pre-Algebra textbook and competed in a game of Jeopardy from Chapter Three in our Pre-Algebra curriculum.

  1. identify, compare, order and write equivalent rational numbers.
  2. estimate sums and differences of rational numbers.
  3. add, subtract, multiply and divide rational numbers.
  4. solve equations containing rational numbers.
