For Evening Practice, students CAN...
1. RELAX.
Today in Pre-Algebra, students spent some time discussing last night's homework and understanding the difference between dilating a figure by a given scale factor as a center point and dilating with the origin as the center point.
We then began Lesson 7.6: Similar Figures. Developing appropriate proportions were essential to solving these problems.
Our Learning Intentions for today were...
1. I will be able to compare an image formed by varying scale factors.
2. I will be able to describe one way for two figures not to be similar.
3. I will be able to explain whether two congruent figures are similar.
For Evening Practice, students CAN...
1. complete 1 – 6, 11 – 18, 21 – 36 on pages 368 - 371
Good luck on your test! I hope you read directions carefully. Mr. Giomini has provided many helpful videos and web content, I also hope you used them over the past couple of weeks.
