In EDM, students examined in more depth some of the common mistakes made on the Unit Four Summative Post-test from before the Winter Break.  Students discussed what made this unit the most successful overall unit of the four we have have assessed.
In class, students...

• reviewed their Unit Four Summative Post-tests.
• examined the graphical representation of their improvement comparing their Unit Four Formative Pretest Score vs. their Unit Four Summative Post-Test Score.

For homework, students should...

• complete Guided Notes for lessons 5.1 and 5.2.
• view some of the following videos and practice the skills that coincide with the lesson in preparation for tomorrow's Unit Five Formative Pretest.

 In Pre-Algebra, students reviewed lessons 5.1 - 5.5 in preparation for tomorrow's mid-unit quiz.  Students also created a calendar on the Active Board to understand what assessments await before the close of the quarter.

• examined the Chapter Five Formative Pretest to look for types of questions that may appear on tomorrow's quiz.
• generated questions about material from lessons 5.1 - 5.5.

For homework, students should...

• use their textbook as a tool to review for tomorrow's quiz.
• review their Guided Notes for Chapter Five to help with quiz preparation.
