Class Topics: 10.26.11
In EDM today, we reviewed last night's homework extensively since there were several questions and concerns raised by the students. Afterwards, we worked collaboratively to construct our own Function Tables using differentalgebraic equationsor functions. Completed tables were then displayed in the hallway. Look for some of the presentations later this week.
In Pre-Algebra today, students evaluated equations that had rational numbers. Students, if able, do to their schedule, spent Advisory Period reviewing material for this Friday's quiz that will cover lessons 3.1 through 3.7. The focus was various computations with rational numbers whereas tomorrow will be spent on dissecting real-life applications.
Solve these and then check your answer against the answer in red.

I tried EVERYTHING and I couldn't get the answer for the blog question. I got 17,16 and 1/6, and 16! So I am not sure. But some how like everyone who has answered so far got 23 and 1/4. So can't wait for help tomorrow.
Smiley Redskin: well first get 5 1/2 and 2/3 to have the same to the other. the least common multiple is 6. "so what u do to one girlfriend, do to the other." so 2X3=6, 1X3=3... 5 3/6, 2/3 is 4/6. so 5 3/6 divided by 2/3 is acully 33/3 x 3/2, which is 33/2 or 16 1/2.
