Class Topics: 10.06.11

In EDM, we started by reviewing one of the more difficult questions from the Unit Two Pretest which is posted below.  There will be a problem similar in nature on the Unit Two Summative Assessment.  Once we had an understanding of the problem we moved into Scientific Notation and how it is uses Powers of 10 to write both large and small numbers.

In Pre-Algebra today we built off of yesterday's lesson on properties of exponents and moved into patterns in integer exponents.  This is something that the students will see on the exam and might be worth looking over by saving the lesson to their flash drive at school.
