Topic One: Use Positive Rational Numbers

Topic One: Use Positive Rational Numbers is broken down into seven lesson topics, the following skills are going to be modeled, practiced, and assessed both in and out of the classroom:

• Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing decimals
• Dividing whole numbers
• Multiplying fractions
• Dividing fractions
• Dividing mixed numbers
•  Solving multi-step problems that incorporate several of the skills listed above.

• Topic One Answer Key – This is for all of the workbook pages. We are unable to utilize all of the pages in the workbook in class. Should you want to incorporate them into nightly routines, the answers are here.
• Quizlet – These are the terms that are discussed and used in classroom conversation for Topic One. Knowing these terms helps on assessments.
• YouTube Channel – This is my YouTube channel. Throughout the course of the year, I create videos based on student’s needs and post them to the blog.
