Day 149: Scholastic Math

Students in Math 6 and Math 6+ reread the article "Women in the U.S. Congress" from Monday. Once Mr. Giomini and the class reviewed the graphical representations in the article, students complete a Socrative quiz dealing with the article.

• Find a percent of a quantity as a rate per 100 (e.g., 30% of a quantity means 30/100 times the quantity); solve problems involving finding the whole, given a part and the percent.
• Summarize numerical data sets in relation to their context.
