Class Topics: 02.18.15

In Math Six, students had shortened class periods.  Mr. Giomini discussed the performance based task, "How Hot Is It?" in greater depth and provided class time for the students to work on the task both independently and with a colleague.


Today's Learning Target(s): The student will be able to...
  1. use substitution to determine the solution to an equation.
  2. display numerical data.
For Evening Practice, the student is expected to complete...
  1. pages four and five from Math 6 Practice packet.  
  2. "How Hot Is It?" performance based task due on Monday, February 23. 
  3. 15 minutes of meaningful practice on Khan Academy.  
I wonder if this type of dedication 
would work in other aspects of life?
