Class Topics: 12.17.14

In Common Core Math Six today, students began Part Six - Percents.  In today's lesson, students developed a familiarity with converting between: fractions, decimals, and percents.

Mr. Giomini presented the problem listed below to students as a challenge for today's lesson.  The hope is that this better prepares students for the application of this skill rather than just knowing the algorithm.

• apply and extend previous understandings of numbers to the system of rational numbers.
• fluently convert between fractions, decimals, and percents.
