Three problems were posted to the Activboard that students had to answer correctly in order to move on to the next phase of class. Students who struggled, were given support and students who excelled, were presented with a challenge component.
At the conclusion of ten minutes, the three problems were modeled and then three more problems were presented to the class and students had to answer all three correct in order to move forward. Time was provided in class to begin evening practice.
