  3. There are many ways to study for math test. One is to ask your math teacher for help on a question that you have problems with. Another great habit to get used to is to redo the question with out seeing the answer and then check your work. If you study you will get better results on your test.

  4. Strategies I can imply that will help me the next time I take a Unit Summative Assessment are, I should only study about 5 to 10 minutes a day rather than cramming everything into the course of one night. Also I should focus on the things I missed, or did not understand from the pre-test.

  5. I think that number 1 and number 7 are the most helpful to me and the ones that I would probably want to use the most. They are usually the ones that I use the least, too. 1. is helpful because there is no point of studying the questions that you already know! And number 7 is helpful because if you try to just memorize the answers while looking at them, you don't learn from your mistakes. I have found these two tips extremely helpful.

    P.S. Thank you Mr. Hartwell!

  6. Dear Mr. Giomini, I think that looking at the answers that I missed and practicing them would help me the most. This would help me most because I would look at the answers I missed, practice them and then on the BIG test I would know how to figure them out and get the correct answers.

  12. I think that number 7 is the best study skill. I say that because you can't try and memorizie the question the teacher will 9 times out of 10 will change the questoin on the retake. I think you should just study as hard as you can and look at the links on the blog.

  16. Mr. Hartwel was right. I should do actual problems to help me study. I should read and reread over my notes and look at the mistakes I made on my pre- test. I should also go on to the blog and study off of there. And if I take my time on the test I will probably do better.

    Thanks Mr. Hartwel!!!!

  18. I think that working on practice examples each night would help me alot.I think this because if you dont know an answer it would help you by practicing every night and then for the test you would know it. I also thimk the going on the blog/website would he you because your teacher could put stuff up that would help you study. The Mr.Hartwell vidoe was very helpful and I hope to use at lease two of these examples every night.

  19. Strategies i can impliment are going on the blog and looking at some of the links. I could also ask you about any questions that i am not sure about. Another thing i could do is do problems that i have already answered and check if i did them right.

  22. When I take tests some strategies I can use is going over the questions I didn't get before I turn in my test. I will also underline the portent details that I need to answer the questions. Also before I turn in my test I will go over every question that I answered and do the math over before I turn it in.

  26. I think that number 1 and 7 are the most helpful to me because number 1 is to focus on the questions that I missed on the pre-test. That benefits me because then I look back on the missed questions and I think of it as a study guide. Number 7 helps me because now I wont just read the question I will figure out the answer.

  27. I think just plain practicing at night for 5-10 minutes would help a lot plus I should even go over past units to help me in the unit I'm in and future units.

  30. Some strategies I can use on the next summative assessment are looking over and practicing problems I missed on the pretest. I could also practice problems by doing things similar to what is on the pretest.

  31. I think that asking my teacher for help with the test and going over the ones I missed on the pretest would have eloped me a lot and probably would have missed 3 question. Emma VDB
