Saying that it is a beautiful day and I can't see it makes people think what it would be like to be blind. It plays on peoples' sympathy. The thng that makes this short video powerful is that she is just someone on the streets that he doesn't even know and she makes a sign that makes people think about what it would be like to be blind.
I think people felt bad for the man when reading the second sign. The words on the first sign were "I am blind please help" that is kind of boring. When the lady changed it, it spelled " It is a nice day out, and I can't see it" that was more creative so more people wanted to help. What a nice random lady. Terminator :)

The words "I am blind please help" are not really a moving statement."It's a beautiful day and I can't see it" is an extremely moving statement. It makes you think of how bad it must feel to be in his shoes. It makes people say "Hey! Do I really have it that bad? If I were him, I would probably not have any choice but to accept what I have, which would be a life of never being able to see this beautiful day." This is how this video and sign is moving.

People these days are only caring about themselfs. The people that read that cardbord sign and think they can make a difference is the "Right Choice." The words," It's a bautiful day that I 'CAN'T' see." changed many Americans minds by the genorsity. Genorsity is the 1 out of millions of things that makes humans humans. If we all say we care about each other, then show it! Lets all chip-in a little bit and donate things and money to help the poor. So that is why I think those words changed the citizans of what looks like New York, New York or Chigao, Ilonois.

This makes people realize that they should help others that aren't as grateful. The power of the words change people's thoughts. For example if a sentence says "The man is blind." That doesn't show or explain anything. If a sentence said "This will never see the sun light you wake up to every morning." This makes more of a thought come to your mind. Words defiantly change mind's of people.

This man can give nothing but gratitude back to her and she decided to give to him anyway. Words are extremely powerful, nobody can doubt that. Words can build continents, break systems, ruin lives, repair damage, rally the troops. So many things that man can't seem to handle, words can control. I hope I'm not ranting about this, but the importance of words can't be stressed enough.
Wow...i watched this like......the second day of school and didnt comment on it yet?! How rude of me!!! well....here I go then, i feel this video was very powerful because this woman could have just ya know..walked on by without a care in the world, because...she can see its a beautiful day! She was a very amazing soul by helping out this man...and he could give her nothing. But..to my point, the power of words...you can't explain it, one word could change a persons day greatly. If your getting amazing compliments all day and out of the blue someone says your ugly...it ruins your day. I thought that the video was very touching and it made me want to cry...... sorta but I did feel really bad about his blindness. About the sign, in the begining it just said " I am blind please help" and it really wasn't working so then a very nice lady came and changed it to " It is a beautiful day but i can't see it" and then so more people began to give him money.
