Day 131: Area of Trapezoids
Math 6 and Math 6+ students continued their work from yesterday with calculating the area of kites and trapezoids. Today, we worked with finding a missing base or height when given the area.
Learning Intentions: Students will develop an understanding of how trapezoids and kites can be decomposed into simpler shapes in order to calculate their area.
The correct answer is 64.3 sq. centimeters.
