Day 101: Calculation Quiz / Metric System

Math 6 and Math 6+ students were administered their weekly Calculation Quiz. Afterwards, students worked with the metric system. We looked for patterns in the placement of the decimal point when multiplying and dividing by powers of 10.

Learning Intentions:

• Use rates with different units of measure to convert between various measurements. 
• Understand how to move the decimal point left to right when working with powers of 10.
