Day 81: Introduce Ratios

Students in Math 6 and 6+ begin Topic Five: Understand Ratio and Rates. We worked our way through creating our own ratios using different illustrations such as the one pictured below. Discussion led to us uncovering how the ratios were similar and different and what exactly each one communicated.
